Leeds College provides a full curriculum from Grade 0 to 12, with English as the primary language of instruction.

We Provide

Grade R-1

This combined phase bridges early childhood development (Grade R) and the beginning of formal primary schooling (Grade 1). The focus is on play-based learning, developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills, and fostering social and emotional growth.

Grade 2-3

Building upon the Foundation Phase, this stage focuses on developing more formal literacy and numeracy skills, expanding knowledge of the world, and encouraging independent learning.

Grade 4-5

Continuing the progression of the Intermediate Phase, learners delve deeper into subject content, develop critical thinking skills, and refine their learning strategies.

Grade 6-7

This phase prepares learners for the transition to high school. The curriculum becomes more subject-specific, and learners are expected to take greater responsibility for their learning.

The final stage of the Senior Phase consolidates learning from previous grades and further prepares learners for the subject choices they will need to make in the FET (Further Education and Training) Phase (Grades 10-12).

Grade 11

Building on the knowledge and skills acquired in Grade 10, learners continue with their chosen subjects at a more advanced level.

Grade 11

Building on the knowledge and skills acquired in Grade 10, learners continue with their chosen subjects at a more advanced level.

We Provide

Grade 12

The final year of schooling, culminating in the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations. The focus is on mastering the content of the chosen subjects and preparing for tertiary education or the world of work.
